God of Gods Supreme God (Shiva)
Naive nature of Lord Shiva
There is a lot of discussion about Tridev Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh in Indian religious texts.
Brahma created the world, Vishnu is the follower and Mahesh is the destroyer of the world.
Among the three, I love Mahadev, the god of gods. He is also called by Shiva, Bholenath, Shankar, Bhairav, Mahesh, Kaal Bhairav and many other names.
Shiva is also called a yogi. Through the sages Gaurakhnath and Patanjali, he spreaded yoga and tantra throughout the world.
Shiva gave Mata Parvati the knowledge of “Vigyan Bhairava Tantra”, which is omnipotent knowledge in the world.
It describes 113 meditation methods. Most meditation techniques are very simple and based on respiration. One can attain imperishable God through any method.
It is very easy to understand Shiva as well as very difficult. Shiva is non-dual beyond duality. The demon is also his worshiper.
Whether it is celestial or Demon Shiva showers his blessings on both. Shiva is pleased with his devotees very soon. Many devotees have pleased him even with just a Belpatra.
Shiva is Bholenath and so is Kaal Bhairav. He is also the master of ghost and other evil powers.
During the marriage of Shiva, when people saw his extremely scary processions, in which demons, ghosts and Pichas were participated.
Then all the people were scared to see this procession.
Shiva does not fall in the rules and regulations of this universe and world. He is like a deserted Yogi who ignores the rules of society and makes his own rules.
During the churning of the ocean, when the venom of poison came out and there was chaos in the whole world.
Then Shiva poisoned without thinking anything and freed the world from poison. Once when there was a war between Brahma and Vishnu as to who is the most powerful, suddenly a light beam appeared.
Vishnu became bear and started searching for the bottom of it by digging and Brahma started looking for the upper end by becoming a bird by flying, but even after years they failed to find the top and bottom of a light beam and gave up.
It is believed that a light beam was associated with lord who is supreme loard of universe.
Understanding his illusion and playfulness is not even a feasible for the gods.
Shiva is also a destroyer of lust (Kamdev). The most powerful factor to run this world.
Shiva is wearing the moon on his head. Ganga also comes out of Shiva’s head and quenches everyone’s thirst. Shiva is also embraced by Rahu in the neck like a snake.
The person who is suffering from evil planets should worship Lord Shiva. The worship of Shiva strengthens the moon and liberates us from all mental illnesses and calms the mind.
But if man has to achieve salvation, then after a while the desire and lust will have to be burnt.
The simple means of burning the desire and lust is the meditation method given in Vigyan Bhairava system.
Only one method will destroy the lust and the human mind starts to devote towards that supreme God.
Lord Shiva also created yoga through the sage Patanjali, which is necessary for the physical body.
When the physical body is healthy, then the mind will also be engaged in meditation.
Lord Shiva teaches us to respect everyone in this Kali-yuga.
Staying away from duality and seeing that supreme Brahma in all beings through non-duality. Which is always present within us?
